Man Dies in Head-On Crash in West Houston

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The three passengers were taken to a local hospital and their condition is unknown. The driver of the Mercedes was also taken to the hospital, and their condition is unknown.
A fatal head-on collision occurred in west Houston on Sunday, resulting in the death of a man. The incident took place at around 1:51 a.m. on Highway 6 in the 1100 block. According to reports, a Jeep traveling northbound veered across the median and collided with a silver Mercedes heading southbound.
The cause of the crash is still unknown as officers continue their investigation into what led up to this tragic event. Inside the Jeep were one woman, one teenager, and one child along with the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene. The three passengers were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, their current condition remains undisclosed.
The driver of the Mercedes was alone during this accident and also taken to an area hospital for medical attention. Officials have yet to release any information regarding their condition as well.
