Man Dies in Motor Vehicle Accident in North Canaan

A tragic motor vehicle accident claimed the life of a man in North Canaan, Connecticut on Saturday morning, according to local authorities. The victim has been identified as Deane Moores from Plainville.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. when Moores was traveling north on Canaan Valley Rd. For reasons yet to be determined, his vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with an embankment before rolling over.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash; however, upon their arrival, they sadly pronounced Moores dead. The exact cause of death is still under investigation by law enforcement officials.
