Man Dies in Single Vehicle Accident in Birmingham

According to the Jefferson County’s Sheriff’s Office, a man died in a single vehicle accident early Sunday morning. The incident occurred at around 4:50 a.m. on the 100 block of Hurd Shoals Road.
Upon receiving the call, deputies were dispatched to investigate the accident. Upon arrival, they found that the male driver of the vehicle had already passed away.
The cause and circumstances surrounding this tragic event are currently under investigation by The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team.
