Man Killed in Farm Implement Accident: Michael Patton

Michael Patton was pronounced dead while on the way to the hospital. The driver of the sprayer was not injured.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety (DPS) has released the identity of a man who tragically lost his life in a farm implement accident near Langford, South Dakota. According to DPS, the incident occurred on July 14th.
The victim has been identified as Michael Patton, a 45-year-old resident of Andover, South Dakota. Reports indicate that Patton was standing beside a parked semi-trailer when an unfortunate collision took place. The boom arm of a John Deere sprayer, operated by a 21-year-old individual, struck the trailer before hitting Patton.
Following the incident, authorities from the South Dakota Highway Patrol launched an investigation into the crash. Sadly, despite efforts to save him en route to the hospital, Patton was pronounced dead. Fortunately, no injuries were reported for the young driver operating the sprayer.
