Man Killed in High-Speed Crash in Taylor, Michigan

Michigan State Police have reported a fatal accident that occurred on Thursday night in Taylor, Michigan. According to the report, a 43-year-old man from Shelby Township was driving a GMC truck on westbound I-94 and exiting at Telegraph Rd when he crashed into and through a retaining wall.
The driver was reportedly traveling at high speed and unable to negotiate the curve at the bottom of the ramp. The truck left the roadway to the right, went through a drainage ditch, and continued westbound crossing all lanes of Telegraph Rd., northbound and southbound before crashing into and through the retaining/sound wall.
Sadly, MSP confirmed that "the driver was pronounced dead on scene." The crash is currently under investigation by authorities.
