Christopher Johnson Killed in ATV Crash in Rural Steele County

Johnson was thrown from the vehicle and died. No one else was hurt.

A tragic accident occurred on Friday evening when a man from Grand Forks County lost his life in an ATV crash. According to North Dakota Highway Patrol, Christopher Johnson, 46, of Northwood was riding an ATV on 16th St NE near the intersection with 134th Ave NE when the vehicle began to roll.

Johnson was thrown from the ATV and died as a result of his injuries. Fortunately, no one else was hurt during the incident.

The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time and authorities have not released any further information regarding what may have caused it.
