39-Year-Old Centerville Man Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash

One fatality, three people rushed to Cape Cod Hospital
A fatal crash occurred on Tuesday in the Centerville village of Barnstable, Massachusetts, involving three vehicles, including a public transit bus. The Barnstable Police Department responded to the incident after receiving a call about the collision on Old Stage Road near Carleton Lane around 5 p.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that one of the drivers involved was not breathing. Without hesitation, police immediately initiated CPR in an attempt to revive him. Shortly thereafter, emergency crews from the Centerville Osterville Marstons Mills Fire Department arrived and swiftly transported three individuals to Cape Cod Hospital for further medical attention.
Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the unresponsive driver—a 39-year-old man from Centerville—was pronounced dead by authorities. At this time, his identity has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The Barnstable Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team has launched an investigation into this tragic incident to determine its cause and any contributing factors.
