A Memphis police officer was involved in a car crash on Tuesday night and taken to the hospital, according to MPD. The incident occurred at Union near Cooper where two vehicles collided. Fortunately, there were no other injuries reported apart from the officer who is currently in non-critical condition.
The driver of the other vehicle has been cited for "failure to yield," as stated by the police department. The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
