Michigan Man Killed in Rollover Crash in Wilson County

The driver of the Dodge was not injured, but charges are pending. The occupants of the Nissan were not injured or charged.
A tragic rollover crash in Wilson County, Tennessee claimed the life of a Michigan man on Wednesday night. The incident occurred at the intersection of Saundersville Ferry Road and Weeping Elm Road around 8:45 p.m.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling east on Weeping Elm Road while a 2015 Nissan Sentra was heading south on Saundersville Ferry Road. The driver of the Dodge allegedly ignored a stop sign and pulled out onto Saundersville Ferry Road, resulting in a collision with the Nissan. The impact caused the Dodge to flip before coming to rest in a private drive.
Authorities have identified the passenger in the Dodge as James M. Bedgood-Wagner, aged 37, from Michigan. Tragically, he did not survive the crash. Meanwhile, there were three occupants inside the Nissan - a male driver aged 37 from Tennessee, along with two female passengers aged 36 and 75 from Kentucky. Fortunately, none of them sustained any injuries or faced charges related to this accident.
It has been reported that only Bedgood-Wagner was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact.
The investigation into this devastating incident is ongoing and charges are pending for further examination by authorities.
Following this tragic event, local officials temporarily closed down traffic on that stretch of road but have since reopened it for public use.
