A Minnesota deputy managed to escape with only minor injuries after a multivehicle crash left a police cruiser engulfed in flames. The incident occurred on July 24, 2023, in Brainerd, Minnesota. The deputy and three occupants of the other vehicles involved were transported to St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries.
A Minnesota deputy miraculously escaped with only minor injuries after a multi-vehicle crash left a police cruiser engulfed in flames. The terrifying incident occurred on Monday, July 24, along State Highway 371 in Brainerd, just north of Minneapolis.
The deputy involved suffered minor injuries and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported among the three occupants of the other vehicles involved in the crash. They were also taken to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment of their minor injuries.
"The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident," stated the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office. Assisting at the scene were various agencies including Minnesota State Patrol, Baxter Police Department, Brainerd Fire, and North Ambulance.
