Mississippi man dies in multi-vehicle crash in Calhoun County

54-year-old man from Mississippi died from his injuries at the scene. The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries, and the two semi-truck drivers did not suffer any injuries.
A fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred in Calhoun County, Michigan on Friday afternoon. The accident involved four vehicles - a car, pickup truck and two semi-trucks - on I-94 near 29 Mile Road.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 1:40 p.m. The crash resulted in the death of a 54-year-old man from Mississippi who was driving the car. He died at the scene due to his injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries while both semi-truck drivers were unharmed. Fire and smoke caused by the collision damaged overhead power lines in that area which led to temporary closure of all lanes on that roadway.
