Missouri Woman Violet Knowles Killed in Car Accident in Cherokee County, Kansas

A tragic car accident occurred on Friday afternoon in Cherokee County, Kansas. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 67-year-old woman from Missouri named Violet Knowles was killed after her car was hit by a truck.
The accident happened shortly after 4 p.m. when an 18-year-old man named Skylar Cauble was driving west on U160 and failed to negotiate a curve. He overcorrected his vehicle and crashed into Knowles' oncoming car.
Knowles suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It is unclear if Cauble sustained any injuries or if he will face charges related to the crash.
The authorities are investigating the incident further to determine what caused Cauble's failure to navigate the curve properly.
