Injury Crash in West Chester Township

At least one person injured
Early Tuesday morning, a motorcycle and car collided on a highway in Butler County, leaving at least one person injured. The incident occurred at the intersection of state Route 747 and Port Union Road in West Chester Township.
According to dispatchers for the township, police and fire were dispatched to the scene at 5:46 a.m. following reports of an injury crash. Upon arrival, officers found that a motorcycle and car had crashed into each other causing injuries to at least one person.
The victim was identified as a man who reported having a possible broken ankle, lacerations to the face, and trouble breathing after the accident. Medics responded to the scene but it is unclear whether he was transported to a hospital or not.
It remains unknown if any other individuals involved in the collision suffered injuries. The West Chester Township Police Department is leading an investigation into this incident.
