Windsor Man Killed in Motorcycle Collision in Rocky Hill

The driver of the motorcycle, Lloyd Montaque, died as a result of his injuries.
A tragic accident occurred in Rocky Hill, Connecticut on Thursday afternoon when a motorcycle collided with a car pulling out of a parking lot. The incident took place at the intersection of Cromwell Avenue and Cold Spring Road.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., emergency dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting the collision. According to authorities, the crash involved a motorcycle and resulted in serious injuries for its rider. Bystanders and responding police officers provided immediate medical aid until Aetna Ambulance Paramedics arrived on the scene.
The paramedics assumed patient care and swiftly transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the car remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with law enforcement officials during their investigation.
Preliminary findings suggest that the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Cromwell Avenue while the vehicle was exiting from 950 Cromwell Avenue's parking area. The collision itself occurred at the intersection where Cromwell Avenue intersects with Cold Spring Road.
Tragically, despite efforts made by medical professionals at the local hospital, Lloyd Montaque from Windsor succumbed to his injuries sustained in this devastating accident. Montaque had been identified as being behind the handlebars of the ill-fated motorcycle.
