Two motorcycle riders were taken to area hospitals for treatment. It's unclear if any tickets have been issued.
Syracuse Police Investigate Motorcycle and Pick-Up Truck Crash
Syracuse Police are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and pick-up truck that occurred on Monday morning. The accident happened at around 7:45 am near the Court Street on-ramp along I-81 North.
According to Syracuse Police, two motorcycle riders were involved in the collision with the pick-up truck. Both riders were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, with one of them sustaining serious injuries.
The driver of the pick-up initially left the scene but was later found not far from where the accident occurred. It is unclear if any tickets have been issued at this time.
As officers continue their investigation, some lanes along I-81 North will remain closed causing delays between I-81 North and Court Street exit until further notice. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route if possible.
