One Person Killed and Another Injured in a Motorcycle Crash in South Carolina
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, one person was killed and another was injured in a motorcycle crash that occurred on Saturday. The accident happened at around 4 p.m. on South Frontage Road near Gnatt Trail in Laurens County.
The crash involved a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle carrying two people and a 2006 Freightliner box truck. The motorcycle was traveling north on South Frontage Road while the box truck was heading south on the same road. As per reports, "the box truck attempted to make a left turn onto a private road and was hit by the motorcycle."
Unfortunately, the driver of the motorcycle died at the scene of the accident while their passenger sustained injuries and had to be taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. On the other hand, no injuries were reported for the driver of the box truck.
The SCHP is still investigating this incident, but no further details have been released yet regarding what caused this tragic collision.
