A 38-year-old woman from New Haven was hospitalized with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon after her three-wheeled motorcycle veered off the road and collided with various objects in North Haven, Connecticut. According to the North Haven police, the incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. when multiple reports were received about a motorcycle crashing into a building on Middletown Avenue.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a 2020 Can-Am Spyder three-wheeled motorcycle near a garage, having traveled off the roadway and striking both a utility pole and clothing collection bin in a parking lot before colliding with the garage itself. The rider, identified as a 38-year-old woman from New Haven, sustained suspected serious injuries and was promptly transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment.

In response to this incident, the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit has been called upon to investigate further details surrounding the crash. As of now, no additional information regarding potential causes or contributing factors has been released by authorities.
