Man Killed, Woman Hospitalized in Warwick Township Motorcycle Crash

A man lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Saturday night in Lancaster County. According to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police, the crash happened at around 7 p.m. near Woodcrest and West Woods Avenues in Warwick Township.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unresponsive man who was believed to have been operating the Harley Davidson motorcycle. Sadly, he was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, a female rider who was also involved in the crash has been taken to an area hospital for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.
An investigation into what caused this tragic incident is ongoing. Preliminary evidence discovered by department officials suggests that "the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Woodcrest Ave when it exited the roadway northbound." The bike then went through some shrubbery and landscape rock before hitting a mailbox and sideswiping a utility pole before coming to rest.
