Thomas Chapman in Critical Condition After Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Collision

Thomas Chapman is in the hospital in critical condition.
All lanes of West Virginia Route 2 in Cabell County are now open after a crash that occurred on Wednesday morning. According to Cabell County Chief Deputy, Doug Adams, the accident involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
The incident happened just after 5:30 am when a man on a motorcycle was driving southbound on Route 2, when a pickup truck pulled out of Cox Landing Road, turning Northbound and colliding with the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist identified as Thomas Chapman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition while the driver of the truck escaped unhurt. The accident caused both lanes to be closed for about an hour before reopening at around 7:30 am.
Authorities say they are still investigating what led to the collision.
