Motorcyclist transported to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries
South Windsor, Conn. - Route 5 Northbound in South Windsor is currently closed due to an accident involving a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer. The incident occurred at 6:55 PM on May 7, 2023.
According to the police, the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital. The road is closed between Ellington Road and Chapel Road until further notice.
The South Windsor Police Department is urging anyone who witnessed the accident to contact Cpl. David Johnson at 860-644-2551.
