Motorcyclist badly injured in crash in Chittenango

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office were continuing to investigate the crash at 11 p.m.
A motorcyclist was badly injured in a crash on Sunday night in Madison County, New York. The incident occurred at around 8:42 p.m. when someone called 911 to report the accident on Lakeport Road near Boatyard Road in Chittenango village.
According to dispatchers, a first responder reported that the man was breathing irregularly and lying on the ground after the crash. Emergency services including Chittenango police, North Chittenango and Bridgeport volunteer firefighters, Madison County sheriff’s deputies and an ambulance rushed to the scene.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital for treatment of his injuries. As of now, there have been no updates regarding his condition immediately following the accident.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation into what caused this tragic event. Further details will be provided as they become available.
