Motorcyclist Dies in Crash with Pickup Truck on Southwest Side

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a pickup truck on the Southwest Side of San Antonio, according to local police. The incident occurred at around 5 p.m. on Thursday in the 3400 block of Nogalitos Street.
Reports indicate that the pickup truck was exiting a business's parking lot while the motorcycle was traveling northbound. Unfortunately, the driver of the pickup truck didn’t see the motorcycle, leading to a T-bone collision between both vehicles.
The motorcyclist, who is said to have been in his late thirties, sustained severe injuries and was rushed by EMS to an area hospital for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away. His identity has not yet been released.
Thankfully, no other individuals were injured during this accident as no other vehicles were involved besides those mentioned above. Additionally, authorities confirmed that "the pickup truck driver stayed at the scene and waited for police to get there." As such, no charges are expected against them at this time.
This tragic event serves as another reminder of how important it is for drivers always to remain vigilant when operating their vehicles on public roads - especially when sharing them with smaller modes of transportation like motorcycles or bicycles.
