Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with Dump Truck in Clay Township

A motorcyclist was injured on Monday morning after colliding with a dump truck in Clay Township. The incident occurred at around 7:37 a.m. on the 200 block of West Upper Lewisburg Salem Road.
According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, Clay Township Police were dispatched on reports of a crash with injuries. Upon arrival, officers found that the motorcycle and dump truck had collided, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist.
Fortunately, the victim was wearing their helmet and remained conscious and breathing throughout the ordeal. They were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment; however, there is currently no update on their condition.
The Clay Township Police Department has taken charge of investigating this accident. No further details have been released at this time.
