Motorcyclist killed in collision with car in Glendale

The motorcyclist died.
A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car in Glendale on Saturday evening. The incident occurred near 61st and Olive Avenues at around 6:30 p.m. Glendale officers were called to the scene and found the motorcycle rider with injuries. They attempted life-saving measures before the Glendale Fire Department arrived and transported the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
According to investigators, the motorcyclist was traveling on Olive Avenue when a car making a left turn onto 61st Avenue collided with them. The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries. Police have closed Olive Avenue from 59th to 63rd Avenues as crews work to clear the scene and investigate. There is currently no estimated time for the road to reopen.
The identities of the victim and the driver have not been released. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the Glendale Police Department.
