Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near San Pasqual Valley

A motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a crash while attempting to pass a semi gas truck near the San Pasqual Valley area in San Diego on Friday. The collision occurred at around 2:44 p.m. on San Pasqual Valley Road, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department (SDPD).
The SDPD reported that a 36-year-old man was riding a BMW R1250 motorcycle heading westbound on San Pasqual Valley Road when he tried to overtake the semi gas truck on a sharp turn. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and collided with a large rock before crashing into the gas truck.
Tragically, the impact proved fatal for the motorcyclist who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have confirmed that alcohol was not a contributing factor in this devastating accident.
