Motorcyclist died, driver of the sedan not injured
A motorcyclist tragically lost their life in a crash that took place on Tuesday night in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Battleground Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The collision involved a Toyota sedan traveling westbound on Battleground Road and a motorcycle heading eastbound on the same road. As the sedan attempted to make a left turn onto a private drive, it collided with the motorcycle.
Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene and transported the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, they succumbed to their injuries later on.
Thankfully, the driver of the sedan emerged from this tragic accident unharmed. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating this crash further to determine its exact cause and circumstances.
