Motorcyclist Killed In Tragic Bronx River Parkway Crash

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A fatal motorcycle accident on the northbound Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers has caused traffic chaos for much of the afternoon commute. The Westchester County Police Department reported that the motorcyclist lost control and crashed just south of the Yonkers Ave. exit. The accident occurred just north of the New York City border.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet released the identity of the victim. Following the crash, traffic was diverted off the Bronx River Parkway at the 233rd St. exit in the Bronx for most of the afternoon.
The accident occurred on Monday afternoon, April 24, 2023.
