Person Trapped in Overturned Car in Suffolk Accident

Suffolk Fire and Rescue crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident on I-664 just before the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel on Saturday afternoon. According to reports, one car had overturned with someone trapped inside while another vehicle had run off the road into the center median.
Newport News Fire crews were also present at the scene and assisted in freeing the person who was trapped inside the overturned car. The individual was then transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
At this time, there is no information available regarding their current condition or what may have caused the accident. However, authorities are continuing their investigation into this incident.
