A multi-vehicle accident involving a log truck caused the shutdown of part of Highway 84 in Valdosta on Thursday morning, according to the Valdosta Police Department. The incident occurred at around 6 a.m. in the 1000 block of East Hill Avenue.
Reports indicate that three victims were taken to the hospital, but their injuries remain unknown at this time. The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours as crews work to clear logs spilled onto the road.
