Multi-Vehicle Accident in Central Phoenix: 5 Patients Treated and Transported

A multi-vehicle accident occurred in central Phoenix on Monday morning, according to authorities. The incident took place at around 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of 7th Street and Northern Avenue. Upon arrival, Phoenix firefighters discovered two vehicles involved in the collision, as well as an overturned Maricopa ambulance.
Five patients were found at the scene, with one man requiring extrication from his vehicle. All individuals involved were treated for their injuries and transported to nearby hospitals. While the identities of the patients have not been released, authorities provided their respective age ranges: one 17-year-old male, one man in his 20s, one man in his 70s, one woman in her 40s, and one man in his 30s. Except for the man in his 30s who was listed as stable condition during transport, all others were reported to be critical.
As a result of the accident investigation and cleanup efforts, Northern Avenue at 7th Street will remain closed until further notice.
