According to 511PA, Plank Road has been reopened between Convention Center Drive and Sheraton Drive after a multi-vehicle crash caused traffic issues on Saturday afternoon. One person was confirmed to have been taken to UPMC for their injuries.

The accident occurred in front of the Altoona Walmart, causing disruption between The Salvation Army Thrift Store and Sheraton Drive (The Outback and Altoona Grande Hotel). As of now, there are no details available about how long the traffic might be disrupted. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes around Walmart.

Photos from the scene show that one car crashed into an Altoona home, which is now deemed unlivable.
