One party flown to a trauma center, another party brought to Franklin Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries
A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Thursday afternoon, causing a portion of Route 2 in Greenfield to be closed for several hours. The incident took place near Adams Road and resulted in one party being flown to a trauma center while another was brought to Franklin Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The Greenfield Police Department advised drivers to avoid the area as crews worked on assisting victims of the accident. The route is now open after being closed in both directions for some time.
Authorities have not released any further information regarding the incident at this time. However, it has been reported that more homeless families have been placed in Greenfield by the state, according to I-Team sources.
