Multi-Vehicle Crash Slows Traffic on Interstate 5 in Solana Beach

Lanes reopened after major delays
"Traffic is slowed along the northbound Interstate 5 through Solana Beach following a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon. The incident, which involved a big rig, was reported around 11:45 a.m. near the Lomas Santa Fe Drive off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
At least one sedan and a semi-truck were part of the collision, with several other vehicles stopped along the shoulder. No further details about the crash are currently available, and authorities have not confirmed any injuries.
Caltrans reported on social media that as of noon, the left two lanes and HOV lane were blocked due to the collision. By 1 p.m., all lanes had been reopened.
A SigAlert was issued for major delays heading northbound. Traffic cameras showed congestion stretching back roughly a mile from Lomas Santa Fe Drive towards the I-5 interchange with State Route 56."
