A multi-vehicle crash that occurred at Penrose Avenue and South 26th Street around 6:10 a.m. on Monday has resulted in numerous injuries, according to authorities. The incident took place in South Philadelphia.
As per reports, one of the vehicles involved caught fire during the accident. Foam was used to extinguish the flames, which could be seen covering the roadway. Emergency crews rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the crash.
The area remained blocked for several hours as rescue teams worked tirelessly to clear up debris from the site of the accident and transport injured individuals to nearby hospitals for treatment.
