All lanes of Highway 99 have been reopened after a fatal crash blocked the road near Paseo Road in Live Oak.
The Sutter County Sheriff's Office reported that multiple cars were involved in the crash.
Allyson Nohelia Navarro-Salazar, a 21-year-old woman and a 1-year-old girl were killed in the collision according to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
This incident caused significant traffic delays for several hours as authorities worked to clear up debris and investigate what happened.
