Four people injured, driver of the Pathfinder in critical condition
Four people were injured in a multi-car crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon in New Haven. The incident took place on Foxon Boulevard near Lowe's, resulting in the hospitalization of the individuals involved.
According to authorities, a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling eastbound along Foxon Boulevard when it suddenly swerved into the opposite lane and collided with a Mercedes Benz E350 and a Hyundai Elantra. Emergency crews had to extricate one person from two of the vehicles due to the severity of the impact.
The driver of the Nissan Pathfinder sustained significant injuries and is currently in critical condition at Yale New Haven Hospital. Similarly, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz was also transported to Yale New Haven Hospital and remains in critical but stable condition.
On a positive note, both the driver and passenger of the Hyundai Elantra suffered only minor injuries. They were treated at a local hospital and have since been released.
