Multiple Injuries Reported in Three-Car Crash on I-87 near Knightdale

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a three-car accident on I-87 near Knightdale resulted in several injuries on Saturday night. The crash occurred at around 11:06 p.m., and part of I-87 north was closed due to the incident, with two out of three lanes closed causing a traffic backup for miles, reported the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
While all lanes reopened at approximately 2:06 a.m., we do not have further information regarding how many people were injured and their condition.
