Multiple Vehicle Accident Causes Damage to Utility Pole in Laredo

A five-vehicle collision near East Saunders and New York in central Laredo on Wednesday afternoon has caused significant damage to a utility pole and resulted in heavy traffic.

The accident, which occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m., involved three unoccupied vehicles. However, one of the vehicles involved was a pick-up truck that crashed into a utility pole, causing substantial damages.

As a result of the collision, power lines were also affected. The American Electric Power (AEP) officials are currently working diligently to repair the damaged utility pole and restore power lines for affected residents.

The incident has led to considerable congestion in the area as authorities work towards clearing the scene and ensuring public safety.
