Four patients transported to the hospital
One person had to be extracted from their car following a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Monday afternoon in Washington County, Utah. The incident took place on State Route 59 at milepost 13, according to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 2:30 p.m., where they found two passenger cars and a semi-truck involved in the collision. In a Facebook post, Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue stated that four patients were transported to the hospital as a result of the accident.
The post mentioned that one of the injured individuals required extrication from their vehicle. However, no details regarding their condition or those of the other three patients were provided by Hurricane first responders.
Authorities worked diligently to clear the road and ensure public safety. By 3:30 p.m., State Route 59 was reopened for normal traffic flow.
