Muskogee Woman Ashley Baker Killed in Semi Crash

One person died and three children were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), a fatal crash occurred near Muskogee, resulting in the death of a woman and hospitalization of three children. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. on US-69 near W. 40th St. North, approximately half a mile north of Muskogee.

The accident involved two vehicles - a 2010 Kia Optima and a 2003 Kenworth T800 - and OHP is still investigating what caused the collision. The driver of the Optima, identified as Ashley Baker from Muskogee, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Baker's three passengers - an eight-year-old girl, ten-year-old boy, and twelve-year-old boy - were transported to the hospital in stable condition following the crash.

Meanwhile, Brian Sallee from Muskogee was driving the semi-truck involved in this tragic event but remained unharmed during it all.
