Nevada Man, Jason E. Sedin, Dies in Overland Park Rollover Accident

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log, a Nevada man has died after his pickup truck was involved in a rollover accident along an interstate headed through Overland Park. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 6th around 4:25 p.m. Emergency crews were called to the area of the I-35 ramp from the 18th St. expressway in Overland Park with reports of a single-vehicle crash.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jason E. Sedin, 46, of Henderson, Nev., who was driving a 2008 Ford F250 north on the interstate just north of 18th St when for an unknown reason it veered to the right. KHP noted that the pickup drove through the grassy gore area and across the entrance ramp from 18th St. to I-35. The truck then left the road and crashed into a ditch where it hit an embankment causing it to roll over.
Sedin was taken to University of Kansas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but unfortunately passed away due to them despite wearing his seatbelt at all times during this tragic event.
The cause behind why Sedin's vehicle veered off course is still under investigation by authorities at this time.
