The New Orleans Police Department is currently investigating a car accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Central City. The incident, which involved two cars, took place at the intersection of Baronne and Calliope streets around 2 p.m.
As per police reports, one person was injured in the crash and had to be taken to an area hospital for treatment. However, there has been no update on their condition as yet.
The cause of the accident remains unknown at this time and investigations are ongoing.
