Nixa High School to Present Docu-Drama Event Depicting Car Accident and Student Death

NIXA, Mo. - Nixa High School will be hosting a docu-drama event on Monday afternoon to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. The event will feature a realistic car accident and student death scene, with student actors working alongside law enforcement to depict the emotional aftermath of such an incident.
According to Nixa Public Schools, the demonstration will take place on the south side of the building at around 1 p.m. Heavy law enforcement and emergency vehicle presence is expected, but the public is advised not to be alarmed.
The event is aimed at juniors and seniors, and is intended to educate students on the dangers of impaired driving. The demonstration will also feature a helicopter landing.
Nixa Public Schools hopes that the event will encourage students to make responsible decisions when it comes to driving under the influence.
"Together, we can make a difference in our community by making responsible choices," said a spokesperson for Nixa Public Schools.
