Driver Found Unresponsive After One-Car Accident in Ellington

Driver brought to Hartford Hospital
A one-car accident occurred on Wappingwood Road in Ellington, Connecticut on Saturday night. The driver of the car collided with a telephone pole and caused multiple wires to fall down.
The Ellington Fire Department responded quickly to the scene and found the driver unresponsive inside her vehicle. She was immediately pulled out of the car and transported to Hartford Hospital for medical attention.
Despite efforts made by emergency responders, Lifestar could not be called due to unfavorable weather conditions at that time. As such, Eversource and Connecticut State Police were called upon to take over control of the situation.
Further details regarding this incident have yet to be released by authorities involved in investigating this case.
