Dennis Thimling Dies in Overnight Crash in Jasper

Dennis Thimling was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
The Jasper Police Department has confirmed that one person has died following an overnight crash in Jasper, Indiana. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Gregory Lane just after 11 p.m. on Monday.
According to a press release from the department, the call came in as a single vehicle crash with entrapment. Officers arrived on the scene and removed 59-year-old Dennis Thimling from the car, beginning life-saving measures immediately.
Thimling was then transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The cause of the accident is still unknown at this time.
