One Dead in Crash in Kissimmee

One person killed, one person with serious injuries
One person has tragically lost their life following a crash in Kissimmee on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and S. John Young Parkway around 5 a.m. According to officials from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), three vehicles were involved, with one of them overturning.
The FHP reports that the driver of a BMW, aged 21, veered across the median into the northbound lanes of S. John Young Parkway and collided with a Chevy Aveo. Regrettably, the collision resulted in the death of the 56-year-old male driver of the Chevy Aveo. The BMW driver sustained serious injuries as a result.
As investigations continue into this tragic accident, authorities have closed off access to this section of roadway.
