Raymond Overton Dies in Greensboro Crash Involving Impaired Driver

Raymond Overton died at the scene. Shaquana Adams was seriously injured but her injuries were not considered life-threatening. The driver of the SUV and her passenger had minor injuries.
A tragic accident occurred in Greensboro, North Carolina resulting in the death of one person. According to police reports, the incident involved an impaired driver.
The Greensboro Police Department stated that Raymond Overton, 39, was driving south on Rehobeth Church Road when he collided with Shaquana Adams, 26. Adams was driving west on Glendale Road at the time of the crash. The collision caused both vehicles to move into the path of an SUV stopped at a stoplight nearby.
As a result of this devastating accident, Overton died at the scene while Adams suffered serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The driver and passenger inside the SUV sustained minor injuries.
Further investigation revealed that Adams was impaired during the time of her involvement in this fatal crash. She has since been charged with driving while impaired by authorities.
