Angelina Forrest Dies in Baton Rouge Crash

On Sunday, June 11th, a fatal crash occurred in Baton Rouge leaving one person dead and several others injured.
The incident took place on Plank Road near Sumrall Drive just before 7:30 p.m.
The Baton Rouge Police Department identified the deceased as Angelina Forrest, aged 27. The accident involved three vehicles - a 2006 Pontiac G6, a 1991 Chevy 1500, and a 2022 Toyota Camry.
Detectives reported that the Pontiac was traveling north when it hit the curb. The driver overcorrected which caused it to collide with the Chevy truck that then hit the Toyota Camry. Forrest was riding as a passenger in the Pontiac at that time and died at the scene of impact.
The driver of the Pontiac was taken to hospital where they are currently listed in critical condition while both other drivers were also hospitalized for minor to moderate injuries.
