LONGMEADOW, MA - One person has died and three others were injured in a multiple vehicle crash that occurred around 2:55 a.m. on Sunday morning. The accident happened on I-91 north, just over the Connecticut state line.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, troopers were called to the scene of the accident. They found one person dead and three others injured. The identities of the victims have not been released.
State Police added that all three lanes of I-91 north were closed while the investigation continued. Traffic had been diverted off the highway at Exit 49 in Enfield, but I-91 north has since reopened to traffic as of 10:20 a.m.
