One Person Dead in Iowa Single-Vehicle Accident
A tragic single-vehicle accident has left one person dead and another injured in Rock Valley, Iowa. According to a report from the Rock Valley Police Department, the incident occurred at the intersection of Fairway Drive and Golf Course Road.
"The driver failed to complete a turn at the intersection and left the roadway striking a tree and a private residence," said police officials who were on site. The victim was identified as 18-year-old Walter Lee Wynia of Boyden, Iowa. He was pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger sustained minor injuries.
The cause of this fatal crash is still under investigation by local authorities.
